MYOTHERAPY & REMEDIAL MASSAGE
Myotherapists are soft tissue specialists! The main goal of Myotherapy is to make sure all the soft tissues (for e.g. muscles, tendons, fascia, ligaments etc) are balanced & healthy, so that your body can move and function well. Problems with your soft tissues may cause pain and/or dysfunction to occur in your body and may well be responsible for any aches or pains you may currently be experiencing. Myotherapists are highly trained in the detection, correction and management of soft tissue related injury or dysfunction. Myotherapists are able to use a range of diagnostic and therapeutic approaches to help you perform better. A Myotherapy session may include massage, muscle mobilisation, dry needling (similar to acupuncture), cupping (another ancient Chinese technique), myofascial release techniques, stretching and/or rehabilitation exercises to help you achieve your health goals.
