Your Second Visit

At your 2nd Visit we will explain the results of your previous examinations and let you know if we can accept your case.

On your second visit, your chiropractor will review the results of your x-rays and examinations with you. Your chiropractor will carefully explain the features that we expect to see in a spinal x-ray such that you can understand the significance of your own x-ray findings.

Your Chiropractor will then explain to you all of your options for care.  The report of findings is designed to provide you with all of the information required for you to make an informed decision about your health, and the type of care that you would like to receive.

Following your report of findings, if your chiropractor has concluded that yours is a chiropractic case, they will give you your first chiropractic adjustment in our office. Your chiropractor will monitor your response from this adjustment.  This, along with the latest scientific evidence, will help to determine your expected results from care, as well as the frequency and duration of care that you are likely to require.

Following your first adjustment, you will be given instructions on what you should do following your adjustments in order to get the best results from today.

On your next visit your chiropractor will formulate their best recommendations for care in your case, taking into account the goals that you have expressed for your health.

Dr Matt Asks some important questions of interest to Mentone and Bayside residents - Chiropractor Mentone and Bayside Dr Matt Asks...

How do you know when you're healthy?
Ask most Mentone and Bayside residents this simple question and you're likely to hear, "When you feel good" or "When you're at your proper weight for your height" or "When you have lots of energy and vitality." Great answers. But our chiropractic patients know that true health is when your body is working as it was designed. True health is how you function, not how you feel.
Which organs are extra?
You don't have any spare parts. Sure, we can survive without our tonsils, appendix, gall bladder and several other tissues, but each serves a purpose. We chiropractors recognise this. So the chiropractic approach I use in Mentone and Bayside is to reduce nerve interferences to the control and regulation of every tissue, organ and system of your body.
