Progress Reviews

Your progress reviews are designed to track your progress, as well as addressing any additional health concerns that you may have.

Your Progress at Peak Potential Chiropractic

How do we assess your improvements?  We achieve this goal by measuring both subjective and objective clinical findings including:

Quality of Life Indicators

We will be assessing those important health elements such as:

  • Sleep
  • Exercise Levels
  • Stress Levels
  • State of Mind
  • Energy Levels
  • Improved Wellbeing
  • Pain Levels / Symptoms
  • Eating Habits & Diet
  • Digestion & Bowel Elimination

Range of Movement

It is important that throughout life we have a healthy range of motion of all parts of our body. Chiropractic care has been shown to build and maintain healthy movement throughout your body.

Structural Change

According to authors Calliet & Gross, in The Rejuvination Factor,“to live a long & healthy life few things matter more than good posture". Posture has been shown to affects & moderate every physiological function from breathing to hormonal production. Spinal pain, headache, mood, blood pressure, pulse and lung capacity are among the functions most easily influenced by posture.”¹

Regular posture assessments are conducted to help gauge your levels of improvement.

In addition, less frequent x-ray examinations may be conducted to determine overall degree of subluxation correction.

During progress exams we ask you to allocate approximately 30 minutes of your time to allow for  all the necessary  history &/or examinations to be completed.

Dr Matt Asks some important questions of interest to Mentone and Bayside residents - Chiropractor Mentone and Bayside Dr Matt Asks...

How do you know when you're healthy?
Ask most Mentone and Bayside residents this simple question and you're likely to hear, "When you feel good" or "When you're at your proper weight for your height" or "When you have lots of energy and vitality." Great answers. But our chiropractic patients know that true health is when your body is working as it was designed. True health is how you function, not how you feel.
Which organs are extra?
You don't have any spare parts. Sure, we can survive without our tonsils, appendix, gall bladder and several other tissues, but each serves a purpose. We chiropractors recognise this. So the chiropractic approach I use in Mentone and Bayside is to reduce nerve interferences to the control and regulation of every tissue, organ and system of your body.
