Fixed, or as near normal as possible.

At Peak Potential, we are committed to helping you reach the best state of health that is possible for you at this point in your life. For this reason we will usually recommend that we provide care that addresses any underlying structural problems. Our recommendations are always based on what we consider will provide you with the best health results for the months, years and decades to come.

Corrective Chiropractic programs are designed to fix the underlying structural problem, or repair it to as near normal as possible. Up until about five years ago most chiropractors didn’t have the knowledge required to correct a spine and most other health practitioners didn’t even recognize that this was possible!

Today, the scientific research to support the application of this type of care is astounding. Not only has science shown that abnormal spinal curves are capable of causing serious damage to the nervous system, but that, by using the right techniques, we can safely and predictably help to restore a spine back towards it’s ideal position.

Corrective programs are tailored to each individual case. Much like using braces for your teeth, spinal correction can take anywhere from a few months to a few years. The frequency of chiropractic adjustments required can differ for each case. Your chiropractor will clearly outline the frequency and length of care that they expect you will require before you get started.

Dr Matt Asks some important questions of interest to Mentone and Bayside residents - Chiropractor Mentone and Bayside Dr Matt Asks...

How do you know when you're healthy?
Ask most Mentone and Bayside residents this simple question and you're likely to hear, "When you feel good" or "When you're at your proper weight for your height" or "When you have lots of energy and vitality." Great answers. But our chiropractic patients know that true health is when your body is working as it was designed. True health is how you function, not how you feel.
Which organs are extra?
You don't have any spare parts. Sure, we can survive without our tonsils, appendix, gall bladder and several other tissues, but each serves a purpose. We chiropractors recognise this. So the chiropractic approach I use in Mentone and Bayside is to reduce nerve interferences to the control and regulation of every tissue, organ and system of your body.
